Claire Lindsay is currently in private practice at the Claire E. Lindsay, PLLC focusing on estate planning, family law (CPS litigation and adoptions), probate and guardianship law as wells as non-profit formation and governance. Claire has her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in New York City. During college she spent a semester in London, England with Boston University.
Formerly, she was the Assistant Director of Development at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. There she worked with the Medical School's alumni and friends to increase their philanthropic giving. Alumni participation reached a historic high through the work of Claire and her team. While in law school she worked on Betsy Gotbaum's successful re-election campaign for the Office of Public Advocate of New York City, the second highest city-wide office.
In her spare time she serves on the Trinity Episcopal Day School's board of directors, serves as a Brownie Girl Scout co-troop leader, volunteers with the Lone Star Chapter of the National MS Society's Walk MS and the National MS Society MS Entrepreneur program as well as being room mom for her youngest daughter's class. Claire also enjoys teaching Wholyfit (a christian alternative to yoga) classes around the community; working on living a greener life and traveling. Her goal is to go to all seven continents; so far five down, two to go.
She lives in Spring, Texas with her husband, John, daughters, Grace and Isla, and their two rescue puppies, Lola and Louis.
